The Wildlife Rehabilitation Class is taught twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.  The next class meets at Forsyth Tech from 6 -9 pm on 11 consecutive Thursdays starting February 28. Contact Forsyth Tech  at 336-761-1002 to register.

You must be at least 16 years old to sign up for this class. This classes offers the student the basic book knowledge about rehabbing and what is involved. We also help you obtain your state permit once you are finished with the class. A state permit is required to rehabilitate wildlife. We do not offer hands-on classes during this 11-week session but do offer an mentor program where the class graduate works side by side with an experienced rehabilitator. During this mentorship, the student learns feeding, stimulation and handling techniques.
